31 July 2006 - New Car Seat

After much hunting we have finally upgraded Leo out of his rear facing baby car seat and into his ‘Big Boy’ forward facing one. It was quite difficult deciding which seat to go for, there was such a huge choice which only confused me more.

I eventually decided on this Britax one because it evolves into a toddler chair, and it was on sale. It has it’s draw backs though, because it’s made to turn into a toddler seat, it therefore doesn’t have the facility to tilt back into a more lying down position good for sleeping. But then again, at least we don’t have to buy yet another one later. And as you can see, Leo managed to sleep in it just fine.


He was so funny the first time we put him in it, he had eyes as big as saucers and his mouth was agape…and he looked around as if he was suddenly transported to some strange magic place. Isn’t it wonderful all these new experiences.
