Watch Leo Grow

Welcome friends and family! I've created this blog so that you can all watch our Little Man grow. The honest truth is that I'm quite crap at e-mailing, so in this way, it's up to you to come visit our virtual home. I, of course, will try to keep it updated with the latest news and pics of Leo.

Biker boy Leo

On Sunday London hosted it’s first Freewheel event….

Basically this was an event organised by the mayor’s office (I think) to promote cycling in the city. So some roads were closed in centre town and a big event organised. We decided to join in the fun.

We drove up to Clapham common on Sunday morning, then hopped on our bikes and cycled into town on the well marshalled route.

It was great fun and a really lovely atmosphere. About 38 000 people signed up for the event, so as you can imagine, it was quite hectic and one had to cycle very carefully to avoid all cyclist traffic.

Once in town we headed for the expo as Leo needed some lunch. The sponsors of the event put on a great spread. Hovis (who make bread) were giving away sandwiches and Cape Fruit had some of SA’s finest granny smiths to give away. So we had a nice picnic which cost us exactly nothing!!!
We then cycled a bit of the route before heading back to Clapham common. Leo had a great day out, for some reason he felt it absolutely necessary to pull faces while Bronson took these pics. Just before he was also shouting at the top of his lungs…cheeky monkey!!!
