Quick Update

Sorry I haven’t posted here in a while, just a bit crazy in the Hunt household at the moment, but just to summarise, we are all well, to varying degrees.

So an update as to what’s being happening. Firstly, the British Summer has gone AWOL. We’ve had nothing but rain for weeks, with only the odd day of sun. You may have heard about the recent floods in the UK…don’t worry, we were unaffected. The good news is…we haven’t suffered from sunburn, and the grass in the garden is nice and green!!!

Leo is a little ill at the moment, thanks to 4 teeth trying to come out at once. A nightmare. He has been quite miserable on occasions, which has not been good. He has however increased his vocabulary. For ages, his only word was ‘Mummy’, which was used for everything, (‘Pick me up’, ‘Put me down’, ‘I want that’, ‘I don’t want that’,’ I’m really cross’ etc, you get the picture.) You could find me half way up a wall….He does now also say Dadda for Bronson (but still mostly calls him Mummy). He also say’s the following words: ‘Ball’, ‘More’ and as of this morning ‘Two’. He refuses to say one or three, but likes Two for some reason…..

Leo has started at a new nursery as from the beginning of June. He is in the Monkey’s room at Advantage Day Nursery. He loves it there and has a whale of a time everyday. He has done some painting and drawing, he gets to play with play dough and does sticking. He also gets to do baking and yesterday he made ice-cream. He has a lovely group of friends to play with, and also gets to play outside on the slides and jungle gym.

Most weekends we take Leo swimming, this is great fun as he is a real water baby. He can stand on the side and jump in all on his own. He also tries to dive, but it’s more a belly flop really. He also likes to take a float in with him, like a kick board, he likes to push this around the pool and tries to push it under the water. He also likes playing with the other children.
