5 June 2006 - Summer is here

It's official, the one week of British summer has arrived...don't blink or you'll miss it. If you aren't convinced, check the weather report for the week.

Our summer started on Saturday with a friends house warming party up in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. That is where these pics of Leo were taken. So great to have him in his summer clothes instead of being all wrapped up. He loves it too, esspecially having his toes out in the sun and not hidden away in socks.

Needless to say it was a great day out, even though it was a bit of a drive, all worth it.

Leo is on the verge of sitting, he can manage it if he keeps still, but the minute he moves or reaches for something, then he topples over. Quite stressful as you have to keep an eye on him the whole time. He also gets quite frustrated as he prefers sitting to laying on his back or tummy, but this means you are stuck being his support. Oh well, he'll soon be sitting on his own then I'll be free to get stuff done around the house.
